Strength Lifting Meet Prep (Week 1, Day 1): Squat Day

First entry into the new log for the Aug 3rd 2018 Strength Lifting Meet at Wichita Falls Athletic Club:

Fri 5/4:  Squat Day 

AM Bodyweight:  207 lbs

  • Overload Squat Holds 500 x 1 (5-10 seconds)
  • Squat Work Set 420 x 3
  • Speed Squats 345 x 3 x 6 (1:45 rest time)
  • 5-sec Pause Squats 300 x 3 x 2
  • Deadlift Hypers 145 x 6 x 3
  • Landmine Abs 3 x 12

Notes:  Everything felt pretty easy in terms of weight.  Conditioning needs improvement!  Overall this was a good place to start the meet prep cycle.
