Mon 6/12/17: Heavy Deadlift + Conditioning

Conventional Deadlift – work up to 530 x 1.

2″ Deficit Deadlift 3 x 8 x 365

GPP Circuit (3 quick rounds, no rest)

  • Weighted Step Ups 3 x 10
  • Heavy Abs 3 x 15

Not great, not terrible.  Was at the Houston Metallica concert the night prior and didn’t get to bed until after 2am.  So all things considered, I’m okay with 530 for an old guy on no sleep.  Deficits for sets of 8 at any weight are just brutal!
