Day 12 – Bench + Chest

Thurs 3/26/15

Paused Bench Press

Warm Up Sets:  20 x 45,  10 x 135,  5 x 225

Work Sets:  285 x 5 x 5.  All reps paused, minimal arch, bar to chest – bodybuilder style

Incline Bench Press

Warm Up Sets:  5 x 135,  2 x 185,  1 x 225

Work Sets (Descending):   5 x 250,  6 x 230,  8 x 210,  10 x 190

Incline DB Fly  1 x 20 (rest pause set:  6, 6, 8)

Bench Press weight was a little bit too light, but better to start the program too light than too heavy.  At least I know I have plenty of room to run. Used 80% of my last paused single at 355 as a starting point.  Overall happy with the session.
