TH 4/16/15 – Bench + Chest

Trained on 4th day of low carbs, but felt surprisingly good.  Didn’t set any records today, but I didn’t feel like I was dragging either.  

Paused Bench Press

Warm Ups:  20 x 45, 10 x 135, 3 x 185, 3 x 225, 1 x 275, 1 x 295, 1 x 315, 1 x 335

Work Sets:  350 x 1,  355 x 1,  2 x 2 x 340.  Felt good about these, nice long pauses on all.  

Incline Press

Warm Ups:  3 x 135, 3 x 185, 1 x 225, 1 x 255

Work Sets:  275 x 3,  260 x 4,  245 x 6

Dips – 50 total reps

 

Bodyweight today:  234. 

Diet Yesterday:  

  1. 1 carton egg whites, 3/4 cup oatmeal (measured dry)
  2. 50g Protein Shake
  3. 8 oz ground beef with grilled onions
  4. 50g Protein Shake
  5. 8 oz pulled pork, veggies  (Need to avoid these high sodium meats.  I think this is what is making my weight stick)
