01 What this is

Custom coaching is the version where I write your programming myself, week by week. Not a template, not a feature checklist, not a generic split. A new week of training, written for you, every week of the tier.

The three durations buy more program from me, not more access. The longer you commit, the lower the effective monthly rate.

02 · Pick a tier

Three durations. Same coaching.

3 Months

Quarter

$900 One-time
$300 / month effective
  • 12 weeks of programming, written week by week
  • Detailed intake questionnaire
  • Weekly video review with cues and corrections
  • Conditioning + nutrition templates where they fit
  • Unlimited email for the duration
12 Months

  • End-to-end periodization: peaks, deloads, off-seasons

Same coaching across all three. Longer commitment, more program written, lower effective monthly rate.

03 · What's included

The whole program, written for you.

A

Weekly programming

Every exercise, set, and rep prescribed and explained. Written for your goals, your equipment, and your week.

B

Weekly video review

Upload video of your major lifts. Cues and corrections come back with the next week's programming.

C

Comprehensive intake

Goals, training history, age, work and family schedule, equipment, injury history, lifts that hurt, lifts that don't. The questionnaire takes the guesswork out.

D

Conditioning where it fits

When conditioning supports the goal, you get a template for it. When it doesn't, you don't. No filler.

E

Nutrition template

A basic nutrition template included with each program, aligned with the training.

F

Unlimited email

For the duration of your program. Travel week throws off the split? Tweaked your back on Monday? You write, I write back. No ticket queues.

04 · How it works

Four steps. No app. No portal.

01 Buy a tier

Pick the duration that fits and pay. No application call, no waitlist. The questionnaire arrives in your inbox automatically.

02 Intake

Fill out the intake questionnaire. The more specific you are, the better the program.

03 I write the program

First week of programming back within a week, usually two to three days. A new week each week after that.

04 You run it

You train through the week. Upload video as you go. Each week I review the video, check in, and write the next week. Email is open the whole time.

You get me. Not a junior coach behind my logo.

Twenty years of coaching intermediate-to-advanced lifters, an IPF Masters World Champion, and garage lifters who don't miss training days. Custom programs are written by me, end to end.

I co-authored Practical Programming for Strength Training, 3rd edition with Mark Rippetoe and The Barbell Prescription with Dr. Jonathon Sullivan. The frameworks the programs use are the same ones in those books, applied to your situation.

05 · Questions

Things people ask before buying.

What's actually different between the three tiers?
Duration. Three months gets you 12 weeks of programming. Six months gets 24 weeks. Twelve months gets a full training year: 52 weeks, planned end to end with peaks, deloads, and off-seasons. The work each week is the same; the longer tiers earn the lower effective monthly rate.
How is this different from the PDF programs?
The PDFs are programs I've written for a typical lifter in a typical situation: four days a week, a normal home or commercial gym, an intermediate strength base. Custom is one program written for one person. If your situation isn't typical, custom earns its price.
How is this different from the Baker Barbell Club?
The Club is weekly programming that drops every Sunday. You pick a track (Conjugate, Basic Barbell, or Bodybuilding), follow it, and read the writing that goes with it. The Club is the right answer for most lifters. Custom is for the lifters whose goal or situation needs a plan written around them specifically.
I have an injury. Can I still buy?
Yes, with the obvious caveat that I'm a coach, not a doctor. I've programmed around bad shoulders, hips, lower backs, and post-surgery for two decades. The intake asks about it; the program is written around it.
Garage gym only. Will it work?
It works fine. Rack, barbell, plates, bench, and a few specialty bars or DBs is enough to write a serious program against. The intake asks what you have. I write to that.
Can I get a refund?
If the first week of programming hasn't been written yet, full refund. Once programming is underway, refunds are case-by-case. Email me.
