This policy describes what information andybaker.com ("the Site") collects, how it is used, and who it is shared with. The Site is operated by Andy Baker / Baker Personal Training, Kingwood, TX.
What We Collect
When you visit the Site, place an order, join the Baker Barbell Club, sign up for the free bench program, or submit a contact form, we may collect:
Information you provide directly. Name, email address, billing address, and payment details (when making a purchase or joining the Club).
Information collected automatically. Pages visited, browser type, device type, referring URL, approximate geographic region, and session behavior. This data is collected through PostHog analytics and is used to understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. We do not run Google Analytics or any advertising trackers.
Bot protection data. Cloudflare Turnstile is used on forms to distinguish real visitors from automated traffic. Turnstile may collect interaction data (mouse movements, keystrokes on the challenge) to make this determination. It does not use traditional CAPTCHA images or set tracking cookies.
How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to fulfill purchases and deliver digital products, send weekly Club programming and transactional emails (order confirmations, receipts, password resets), send marketing emails you have opted into (such as the free bench program sequence), understand how visitors use the Site and improve it, and protect the Site from spam and abuse.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
Third-Party Services
The Site relies on the following services to operate. Each has its own privacy policy governing how it handles your data:
Stripe processes all payments. When you purchase a program or join the Club, your payment information is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy: https://stripe.com/privacy
AWeber manages our email lists, including the free bench program opt-in and marketing emails. When you submit your email address, it is stored in AWeber. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email. AWeber's privacy policy: https://www.aweber.com/privacy.htm

Community Platforms
The Baker Barbell Club includes access to a private Facebook Group and a Discourse forum. These platforms are operated by Meta (Facebook) and Discourse respectively, and are subject to their own privacy policies. Any information you share in those communities is governed by those platforms' terms.
Cookies
The Site uses minimal cookies. Cloudflare may set cookies for security and bot-detection purposes. PostHog may set cookies or use local storage for analytics. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.
You can configure your browser to refuse cookies. Some site functionality may be affected.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with products and services. If you unsubscribe from email lists, your address is removed from future sends. If you want your data deleted from a specific service (Stripe, AWeber, etc.), contact us and we will process the request or direct you to the appropriate platform.
Children
The Site is not directed at anyone under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us. California residents and individuals in jurisdictions with similar privacy laws may have additional rights regarding their data.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a revised date. We will not reduce your rights under this policy without your consent.
